Edison seniors named students of month

BERLIN HEIGHTS — The Berlin Heights Kiwanis has selected Edison High School seniors who are sisters as the April and May students of the month.

Miranda Morley is the April student of the month. Megan Morley was selected for May. They are the daughters of Mike and Debra Morley, of Berlin Heights.

Each Edison student was chosen for her contributions to EHS and the Berlin Heights and Milan communities.

Miranda’s school activities, accomplishments and awards include: Ohio Seal of Biliteracy recipient, band, National Honor Society, French Honor Society co-president, speech and debate president, French Club, Interact Club, Edison Early Readers, Health Professional To Be, OHgo Project Happy volunteer and shift leader at Dunkin Donuts.

She plans to attend Wingate University, majoring in pre-pharmacy.

Megan’s school activities, accomplishments and awards include: Drama Club (president, senior), speech and debate (secretary, senior), French Club (co-president, senior), Interact Club (historian, senior), Teen Leadership Corps, FCCLA member, EHS student of the quarter; EHS morning news crew, Honor Thespian, International Thespian Festival individual event finalist, Ohio State Thespian Conference individual event finalist, International Thespian Society member, NSDA Honor Degree seal recipient and Emerald and Sapphire Insignia recipient and La Société Honoraire de François member .

She plans to attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, majoring in business and theater.
