Ashakih’s activities, accomplishments and honors include: Art Club (four-year member, secretary her sophomore year), Book Club (two years), National Honor Society, Environthon, tennis (two years), Reach Our Youth volunteer, academic letter and four years on the principal's list.
In art, she has received the Best of Show, Best Senior Art Exhibit and Judges Choice awards. She also is the recipient of the Reach Our Youth - Tom Heydinger Memorial, Ohio Wesleyan - Fine Arts Scholarship and Branch Rickey and Firelands Area Art League scholarships.
Ashakih plans on attending Ohio Wesleyan University with a double major in liberal arts and civil rights studies. She is the daughter of Daniel and Tina Ashakih.
Barnes’ activities, accomplishments and honors include: Wind ensemble, Art Club, musical, Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) solo and ensemble competition, National Honor Society, Key Club, World Language Club and the Tom Philips Musical Scholarship.
She plans on attending North Central State College on a full scholarship to obtain her associate’s degree in health and human services.
“Then (I want to) transfer to Ohio University to major in speech-language pathology and minor in occupational therapy. I want to work in a hospital setting, such as the Firelands Emergency Medical Center speech-physical-occupational therapy ward and I want to focus on working with children,” said the daughter of Chris and Lyndsey Barnes.
Davidson’s activities, accomplishments and honors include: Volleyball, select choir, National Honor Society, honorable mention for All-Ohio volleyball and the principal’s list.
She plans on attendingOhio Northern Univerisity to study pharmacy and play volleyball. Davidson is the daughter of Scot and Tina Davidson.
