Students of the month

Norwalk Kiwanis have named Norwalk High School seniors Lexi Brooks, Ethan Coover and Bethany Cring as the students of the month for March.

Brooks is the daughter of Daniel and Trisha Brooks. Her activities, honors and awards include: National Honor Society, blood drive volunteer, Select Choir, Key Club volunteer, receptionist and social media manager at New Look Salon and Spa, 2016 NHS Hoby representative and principal’s roll.

Lexi Brooks plans to study nursing at BGSU Firelands.

Coover is the son of Randy Coover and Jaime Rising. His activities, honors and awards include: NERD Nation robotics, National Honor Society, Academic Challenge, student council, Eagle Scout, Boy Scouts of America; Ordeal Member and the Order of the Arrow.

Ethan Coover plans to double-major in computer science and finance and move to either New York City or Boston.

Cring is the daughter of Scott and Kathy Cring. Her activities, honors and awards include: Golf, cross country, basketball, track, Teen Leadership Corp, National Honor Society, orchestra, honor roll, All-Sandusky Bay Conference for cross country, golf, basketball and track

She plans to attend North Central State College, majoring in middle childhood education.
