As part of the organizational session, Domenic Maiani was elected board president and Kevin Babcock as the vice president.

In other business, superintendent Brad Romano said the board will vote on next year’s calendar in March. Several residents have requested school start after the Lorain County Fair.

The board also voted to raise adult lunch prices by 25 cents to $3.50.

Regular meetings will take place at 6 p.m. the third Monday of each month, but because of calendar conflicts, the next meeting will be Tuesday, Feb. 27.
