McDonald won the event with 132 points, while the Wildcats were next with 155. St. Paul was 16th (464).
Curtis Joppeck led New London by placing sixth overall out of 250 runners in a time of 16:19. Dominic Albaugh was 16th (16:40.6), while Tyler Twining was 37th (17:13.2).
Also for New London, Mitchell Joppeck was 52nd (17:28.6) and Caleb Good was 53rd (17:29.3), while Braeden Geist was 55th (17:32) and Cole Kropka was 63rd (17:45.1).
For St. Paul, Zack Stine was 31st (17:04.9), followed by Isaac Thimke (18:12.8) in 86th and Gavin Ross (18:15.5) was 93rd. Also scoring for the Flyers was Ian Deeter (115th, 18:31.5), Collin Liedorff (154th, 19:07.9), Ryan Gross (170th, 19:23) and Nick Centa (189th, 19:43.1).
Levi Anderson was 20th for Plymouth in 16:51.9.
The Western Reserve boys finished 19th in the ‘B’ race with 487 points.
Sam Beaudin was 51st (19:15.3), followed by Sean Murdock (19:39.5), Logan Rogers (85th, 19:50.1), Aidan Perez (94th, 19:54.7), Holden Nuhn (195th, 23:53.2) and Collin Beck (213th, 26:07.2).
Also in the B race, Monroeville’s Caleb Lykins was 126th (20:37.2) and Ellis Herner (20:50.9) was 133rd. Also for the Eagles, Jimmy Clingman was 165th (22:01.1), followed by Trask Ott (176th, 22:34.5) and Layton Hauler (211th, 25:32.9).
St. Paul girls 13th
The Lady Flyers were paced by Lily Dowdell, who was 15th overall out of 343 runners in 19:41.3.
St. Paul was 13th in the team race with 529 points, while New London (556) was 16th and Western Reserve was 18th (570).
Also for St. Paul, Claire Ceccoli was 74th (21:34.7), followed by Cheyene Null (88th, 21:54.1), Madelyn McCall (145th, 22:45.5), Olivia Hosack (230th, 24:24.1), Dana Sumpter (238th, 24:33.9) and Josalynn Vaquez (258th, 25:09.3).
For New London, Kaylin Williams was 31st in 20:12.3. She was followed by Abigail Good (103rd, 22:12.8), Grace Crawshaw (126th, 22:31.7), Emily White (152nd, 22:49.6), Esther Schmidt (163rd, 22:59.2), Zoey Mitchell (218th, 24:15) and Kora Landis (234th, 24:30.7).
Tab Pausch led Western with a 21:27 in 67th place. Aliyah Perez (21:42.6) was 80th and McKenna Woodruff (22:03.1) was 97th. Also for the Riders, Ashlyn Barnhart (22:17.3) was 108th, followed by Madison Weiser (243rd, 24:39.6), Rachel Herbkersman (245th, 24:46.8) and Larissa Burras (280th, 26:06.5).
Competing for Monroeville was Rachel Herner (213th, 24:08.9), Payton Scheid (263rd, 25:20.2), Adelynn Kradlak (281st, 26:08.3) and Anita Ruggles (290th, 26:28.2).
Norwalk boys 19th in Div. I
The Trucker boys placed 19th in the Div. I A race, paced by Kyler Kromer, who ran a 16:49.7 to place 56th out of 235 runners.
Cobey Kromer was 81st (17:11.8) for Norwalk, followed by Mitchell Sommers (95th, 17:20.9), Gabriel Hainline (142nd, 17:55.7), Wyatt Hale (147th, 17:56.2), Luke Brown (208th, 18:45.3), Xavier Sweet (217th, 18:58.5) and Samuel Neuberger (224th, 19:34.4).
Running for Norwalk in the Div. I B race was Nicholas Lukac (218th, 21:23.6), Steven Willer (219th, 21:23.9), Ethan Holstein (220th, 21:37.1), Owen Wagner (227th, 22:48.6), Connor Rademaker (229th, 23:28.7), Joseph Lyons (230th, 23:29) and Trenton Goostree (232nd, 24:44.9).
In the Div. I girls A race, Kylie Moser was 118th for Norwalk in 23:24.9. She was followed by Ana Henderson (129th, 24:43.3), Kelly Faylor (138th, 28:29.6) and Kallie Arndt (139th, 33:55).
Edison trio shines again
The Edison girls were 11th as a team in the Div. II A race, as standout Abby Lesniak was third overall out of 175 runners in 18:30.
Peyton Facemire was 51st for the Chargers (20:58.8), followed by Paige Schaefer (92nd, 22:24.6), Lindsay Sneider (99th, 22:46), Ava Miller 111th, 23:14.6), Katelyn Jeremay (114th, 23:24.6) and Isabellah Linder (120th, 23:52.5)
In the Div. II boys A race, the duo of Tyler Coon and Daniel Lambert continued to impress.
Coon was fifth overall in 15:58.8 and Lambert wasn’t far behind in sixth place at 16:04.8.
Also for Edison, which was 16th as a team, Eli Webb was 154th (18:28.7). He was followed by Brock Tice (173rd, 18:41.9), Gabe Tice (197th, 18:54.2), Aidan Anderson (293rd, 20:51.4),
In the Div. II girls B race, Willard’s Amy Del Angel was fifth overall in 20:51.2. She was followed by teammates Araceli Huerta (109th, 23:58.9), Haley Henry (125th, 24:38.8), Madison Clark (143rd, 24:49.9), Abby Del Angel (182nd, 26:17.5), Zoey Hartz (191st, 27:01.8) and Regan Hartz (221st, 31:40.
Landon Schaffer led the Crimson Flashes in the Div. II boys A race. He was 77th in 17:34.7, while Trenton Rupert was 91st in 17:47.2. Nick Bauer (213th, 19:10.6), Fernando Huerta (234th, 19:27.8), Aaron Stephens (272nd, 20:22.1), Kaleb Walton (306th, 21:28) and William Gates (313th, 22:22.1).
