Grand jury indicts 8 suspects

A Huron County grand jury has indicted two suspects who have previous convictions.

Grand jurors met Friday and issued the following indictments:

• Edward E. Blair, 42, of 20 Spring St., on aggravated possession of methamphetamine in connection with an Aug. 22 incident.

• Samuel G. Crockett Jr., 60, of Massillon, on three counts of having weapons while under disability, all in connection with a Jan. 5 incident. One of the charges indicates Crockett reportedly “is drug dependent, in danger of drug dependence or a chronic alcoholic” and another stipulates he was convicted of drug abuse Jan. 11, 1990 in Stark County Common Pleas Court. If convicted of the current charges, he could be required to forfeit a .357 Smith & Wesson model 66 to the state.

• John T. Ellis, 24, of Shiloh, on one count each of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, having weapons while under disability and possessing criminal tools, all in connection with a Jan. 5 incident. If convicted, he could be required to forfeit a cell phone, scale, an undisclosed amount of money and a 9 mm Hi-Point pistol to the state.

• Andrew M. Grose, 37, who reported being homeless, on two counts of breaking and entering and one charge of vandalism, all in connection with a Jan. 20 incident.

• Tabatha M. Moore, 30, of 98 Wooster St., on aggravated trafficking in oxycodone in connection with a Jan. 24, 2018 controlled drug buy.

• Stephani M. Mosley, 29, of 38 W. Broadway St., Plymouth, on one count each of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, having weapons while under disability and possessing criminal tools, all in connection with a Jan. 5 incident. If convicted, she could be required to forfeit, a gun, digital scales, $515 and a cell phone reportedly “used to communicate with customers, suppliers and/or other persons involved in (the) shipping and/or selling of drugs” to the state.

• Heather K. Nickoli, 44, of 62 Simpson Ave., on two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI) and one charge of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, all in connection with a Nov. 21 traffic stop. Her indictment indicates she has been convicted of several OVIs: Feb. 11, 2002 in Norwalk Municipal Court, Feb. 3, 2009 in Erie County Municipal Court plus June 28, 2011 and Dec. 13, 2012, both in Norwalk Municipal Court.

• Kirk C. Wilber, 46, of 27 Ward Ave., on one count each of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, possession of heroin and possessing drug abuse instruments, all in connection with a Dec. 20 incident.
