Huron County grand jury indicts 4

A Huron County grand jury on Friday indicted four suspects, including three facing drug charges.

They are:

• Matthew J. Alpeza, 35, of Cleveland, on theft in connection with a Jan. 12 incident. He also was charged with passing bad checks, which court records indicate reportedly involved a $1,000 to $7,500 transaction.

• Tiffany L. Fritz, 29, of 109 Washington St., Willard, on theft of a dangerous drug in connection with a July 26 incident.

• Glenn D. Gardner, 32, of 2255 Walnut Road, North Fairfield, on two counts of possession of drugs (methylphenidate, Schedule II) and one count each of possession of drugs (carfentanil and furanyl, Schedule II) and possession of drugs (buprenorphine, Schedule III), all in connection with an Aug. 26 incident.

• Jason L. Mayse, 27, of Columbus, on aggravated possession of drugs (hydrocodone, Schedule II) in connection with an Aug. 20 incident.
