Norwalk girls basketball holding camp

The Norwalk girls basketball program is holding its annual Lady Truckers Baseball Camp June 1 and 2 at the Norwalk High School Gymnasium.

Girls grades 3-8 for the 2017-18 school year are invited to sign up for the camp. Grades 3-5 will hold camp fro 8:30 a.m.-10a.m. while grades 6-8 are from 10:15 a.m -11:45 a.m. for both days.

The cost is $30 per camper and the campers will receive instructions from the district championship coaching staff at Norwalk High School.

Check are to be made payable to Norwalk City Schools Attn: Girls Basketball. Mailed checks are to be sent to Brock Manlet, 350 Shady Lane Dr., Norwalk, OH 44857. The deadline to register is May 18 for a guaranteed t-shirt. Contact Brock Manlet for questions at 419-577-6008.

Registration forms can also be picked up at the front desk of the Norwalk Reflector office.


Norwalk football holding fundraiser

The Norwalk football program is holding a fundraiser on at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 5 at the Huron County Fairgrounds Expo Hall.

The show features Dueling Pianos in concert. It will be a unique concert where the audience chooses the songs in a clap-a-long, sing-a-long, crazy fiesta with hi-octane comedy and some good old fashioned competition.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for dinner and drinks and tickets are $20 per person. You must be 21 or older to attend. The ticket prices includs dinner and drings. There will also be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle and games of chance.

Monday Morning Golden Oldies Golf League

A meeting of the Golden Oldies Golf League is scheduled for 8 a.m. on April 24 in the clubhouse at Sycamore Hills.

Golfers 60-years of age or older are welcome.

League fee is $15 which includes four feeds through the year.

Signup sheets are available in the clubhouse.

Participants are asked to bring their clubs as the league starts after the meeting.
