Tickets on sale for area teams' tourney games

It is that time of the year again in high school hoops.

Tournament season is upon us and area schools are selling tickets for the events all week long.

St. Paul

The St. Paul girls’ hoops team plays at 8 p.m. on Thursday at Seneca East High School for a district semifinal matchup with Mansfield St. Peter’s. Tickets for the game can be purchased in the main office of the high school at 7 a.m. through 3 p.m. on Wednesday and 7 a.m. through 1 p.m. on Thursday. Presale tickets for the event are $4 for students and $6 for adults.

St. Paul also has boys’ sectional tickets on sale now. The Flyers take on the winner of Plymouth and Buckeye Central at 8 p.m. on Friday at Sandusky High School. Tickets are on sale Wednesday from 7 a.m. through 3 p.m. and Thursday from 7 a.m. through 1 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are $4 for students and $6 for adults.

Monroeville

The Monroeville Eagles take on the Mansfield St. Peter’s Spartans at 6:15 p.m. on Friday at Lexington High School. Tickets for that game are on sale now for $6 for adults and $4 for students. Monroeville will receive a portion of the pre-sale ticket proceeds.

Norwalk

The Norwalk Lady Truckers are selling district semifinal tickets from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Thursday afternoon. The Lady Truckers take on Shelby at 8 p.m. on Thursday at Willard High School. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets will be $6 at the gate.

Western Reserve

The Western Reserve boys’ sectional final tickets are on sale now until 10 a.m. on Friday in the high school office. The Roughriders take on the Willard Flashes at 8 p.m. on Friday at Shelby High School. Pre-sale tickets are $6 or adults and $4 for students.

Edison

Edison High School is selling presale tickets for the Boys Division III Sectional Tournament basketball game at Monroeville High School vs. Bucyrus. The game is at 8pm on Friday night. Presale tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets at the gate will be $6. Tickets will be on sale in the athletic office during school hours until 3 p.m. on Friday, March 3rd.
