In the Bantam division (ages 7-8), the Monarchs defeated the Barons, 14-12.
For the Monarchs, Eli Keefer, Cole Myers and Mason Sanders each led the team with four singles. Lincoln Hancock added three singles and a double, while Greg Keefer had two singles and a double.
Levi Wolf had three singles, and Cayden Dickson also added two singles for the Monarchs in the win.
‘For the Barons, Cole Vogus and Maverick Hurakal each had five singles. Conner Polachek had four singles, while both Aiden Kahn and Jamie Stoner each added three singles.
Also for the Barons, Nathan Moncrief and Kevin Mills had two singles each, while Jacoby Kraft and Hunter Miller each had one single.
Red 8, Blue 5
In the Colt division (ages 9-10) All-Star game, it was the Red team defeating the Blue team by an 8-5 score.
For the Red, Brady Singer had three singles. Jordan Coder had two singles, while Weston Gfell connected for a double.
Also for the Red team, Caleb Dixon, Joey Campagna, River Couch, Gunner Kluding and Kade Houck each had one single.
For the Blue team, Levi Rospert had two doubles and a single, while Michael DeJesus Jr. also had two doubles. Kaedyn Warner and Devyn Emmons each had one single.
Blue 11, Red 5
In the Junior division (ages 11-12), it was the Blue team coming away with an 11-5 win over the Red.
In the Blue team’s win, James Wallace had two singles and a triple, while Jacob Bocock connected for a home run and a double.
Kellen McDonnell had a single and a triple, while Jacob Burger and Luke Metcalf each added two singles. Jacob Gilbert doubled, and Ricky Wallace and Jared Hipp each added a single.
For the Red team, Landin Hershiser tripled, while Spencer Shutt had a double, and Landen Roeder and Gavin Thurston each added a single.
Blue 33, Red 15
in a slugfest, it was the Blue team scoring a 33-15 win over the Red in the Senior division (ages 13-16) matchup.
Chaz Smith had four singles for the Blue team, while Jacob Bly added two singles and a double. Buddy Baker, Kelton Chapin and Griffin Pieples each had a single and a double.
Also for the Blue team, Sam Tokarsky and Ky’Aire Thomas each added two singles. Ethan Phillips, Andrew Bundschuh, Jagar Missler and Ryan Preston each had one single.
Blayke Wright had three singles for the Red team, while Aaron Buchanan had a single and a double. Evan Gaston added two singles, and Jayden Hipp had a double.
Also for the Red, Jordan Gede, Peyton Garemeyer, Ryan Ritzenthaler and Alex Herf each added a single.
Action will continue for the next three-plus weeks in the league. The Senior Division single-elimination tournament will begin on July 3.
The year-end tournaments for the other three divisions are scheduled to begin the week of July 15-19.
