SANDUSKY — It will be a college softball and baseball doubleheader Sept. 16 at Sports Force Parks in Sandusky.

The Ohio Dominican Panthers will take on the Northwood University Timberwolves at noon and 2 p.m. in a pair of softball games on field No. 2, while the Michigan State University baseball team will hold a practice from 1-2 p.m. and an intra-squad game from 2-4 p.m. on Field No. 3.

The day will begin at 11 a.m. when the MSU baseball team will be at the park’s adaptive field to play games with local children who have mental, developmental and physical disabilities.

“We’re excited to welcome the MSU baseball team to Sports Force Parks,” said Molly White, general manager of Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point Sports Center. “Having a Big Ten team here, working with kids from or local community will be really special to watch.”

There is no charge for children with special needs to play with the MSU baseball team. Contact Megan Centers at mcenters@sportsforceparks.com to get your child(ren) signed up.

The public is welcome to watch all of the day’s games and admission is $5 per person.
