Free wildlife exhibits and activities part of Saturday's event

VERMILION — The Vermilion River Watershed’s 13th annual open house will take place 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Lake Historic Community Center, 3780 Edgewater Drive.

The event will feature nature and wildlife exhibits, educational exhibits, activities, demonstrations and craft vendors. Food and drink will also be available.

Admission is free, so make sure to bring your family and friends for a “wild” time.

Exhibitors include: Back to the Wild, Vermilion Tree Commission, Erie MetroParks, Beaver Creek Watershed, Lorain County MetroParks, Vermilion in Bloom, Western Reserve Land Conservancy, LoCo ‘Yaks, Friends of Old Women Creek, Erie County Health Department, Erie County Recycling, Common Ground, Lorain County Woodcarvers, Erie Conservation District and Ohio Clean Marina.
