ESCANABA, Mich. — The 59th annual National Trappers Association convention/outdoor show will be held at the U.P. State Fairgrounds in Escanaba, Mich., on July 26-28. Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. all days.

Admission is $10 per day or $20 for a three-day pass. Children younger than 12 get in free.

One of the many famous trappers attending will be trapper/lure Mark June. He will do a demonstration sharing his tips, experience and expertise on trapping coyotes. June also will share information on lure type, use and proper placement which will surely increase any trappers capture rate.

The convention features items of interest to all members of the family. From raffles to vendors, free children’s fishing to trapping/hunting seminars, there are three solid days of action.
