Classy Clovers

NORTH FAIRFIELD — The Classy Clovers held their second meeting on March 4 at the North Fairfield Legion. They elected officers for 2018. The following members were elected: president- Tyler Nickoli; vice president- Alexis Hinckley; secretary- Micayla Fincham; treasurer- Alyssa Clark; safety leader- Xavia Immel; health leader- Zuri Immel; news reporter- Brailey Key and recreation leader- Dana Preston

The club voted to donate money to the Kiwanis for the Grade A Banquet and decorated St. Patrick’s Day themed placemats to donate to a nursing home. They also discussed whether or not to raise club dues. Everyone is supposed to wear 4-H T-shirts to school for Ohio 4-H Week if possible. 2 cloverbuds made tie dye pasta, painted wooden clovers and discussed what the 4-H’s mean and what they mean to us.

The next meeting will be March 25 at the North Fairfield Legion.

Ridgefield Country Kids

The Ridgefield Country Kids held their 3rd meeting on Feb. 19th at advisors Gary Bauer's home. There were 19 members present. Fundraising Cookie Dough Order forms were turned into advisor Marc Ruggles. There was no old business. The club voted to donate $100 to the Grade A 4-H Banquet to be held on April 12th., also voted to hold a bake sale and collect for Easter Seals on April 28. Garrett McQuillen gave his demonstration on" How to kick a football." Macy Rohde & Lydia McQuillen demonstrated "How to play volleyball." Enrollment and Health forms were handed out. Treasurers report was read and approved.
